Puppies & Paramedics

I had the honour to photograph for the 2022 Puppies & Paramedics Calendar to help fundraise for the graduation of local paramedic students. All animals featured are rescues from Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society.

It was an incredibly interesting expereince to photgraph these adorably hyperactive puppies. As you can imagine, multiple takes were needed to capture instances where the camera had their full attention, in an enviroment full of the distractions. I enjoyed watching their lovable antics and how they interacted with each phtoshoot setup.

Each photo of these sweet puppies was taken at their respective foster homes. These puppy parents were kind enough to allow me to use their homes as the locations for the photoshoots. Seeing and interacting with all of the other foster animals at the homes was also such a pleasure.

In summary, this was a joyous experience that has semented my passion for photography. Though there were definitely some learning curves to overcome, I would certainly participate in a photoshoot like this again. In the future, I would ensure to build upon my mistakes and come more prepared.
